"Big on symbolism, the singer finds it interesting that he was able to salvage some key items, including his slightly scorched Bible."

Something to think about ... .

1Tim.6:6

[7] For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out.

Matt.6:19

[19] Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:

+* +* +*
Just over the weekend someone on another thread commented that Bibles have been found not burned mixed in with the debris from fires. Interesting.

Sorry to hear of this. I know someone, a relative by marriage, who has a garage full of Beatles memorabilia collected for several decades; would be a big loss if something happened to it.

But even worse, this, for "?" since it was his own stuff. Too bad they didn't have fire insurance.

Wow, Question Mark of Question Mark and the Mysterians! I didn't know he was still alive. "96 Tears" takes me all the way back to when I was in 7th grade.

Sorry for his loss, too.

Good post Weegee. Q is a good guy, I met him a few years ago in Detroit. It's a shame. Hopefully there will be some good benefit shows and he will be able to rebuild his house.
