There goes everything she's worked for since the mid 90s. I don't know how she could possibly win this one.
I think she screwed up- but $50 mil... kinda ridiculous for an 'accident'. She wasn't drunk, drugged, speeding, or anything other than distracted and caused an accident. If she was then I could see punitive damages (still not $50mil).
She made a mistake, and someone lost their life. Accidents happen. But I see lawholes - i mean lawyers drooling over deep pockets.
