Dr.Francis Boyle wants to set up UN court to try president Bush for warcrimes (BARF)

PETITION TO THE UN GENERAL ASSEMBLY TO SET UP AN INTERNATIONAL CRIMINAL TRIBUNAL TO TRY PRESIDENT GEORGE BUSH, VICE-PRESIDENT DICK CHENEY, FORMER SECRETARY OF DEFENSE DONALD RUMSFELD, SECRETARY OF STATE CONDOLEEZZA RICE, AND ATTORNEY GENERAL ALBERTO GONZALES

1. The U.N. General Assembly has the authority to set up such a tribunal by a majority vote as a “subsidiary organ” under U.N. Charter Article 22.

2. The Statute should be modeled upon the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia, which the United States supported at the U.N. Security Council, so as a matter of law it is unobjectionable.

3. There should be added to the ICTY Statute an additional crime of Crime Against Peace, as defined by the Nuremberg Charter (1945), the Nuremberg Judgment (1946), and the Nuremberg Principles (1950), and as codified by U.S. Army Field Manual 27-10 (1956) paragraph 498.

4. The purpose of the ICTU (International Criminal Tribunal against the United States under the Bush regime) would be to investigate and prosecute United States war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide against the Peoples of Iraq just as the ICTY did for the victims of international crimes committed by Serbia and the Milosevic Regime throughout the Balkans.

5. The establishment of ICTU would provide some small degree of justice to the victims of U.S. war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide against the Peoples of Iraq – just as the ICTY has done in the Balkans.

6. Furthermore, the establishment of ICTU by the U.N. General Assembly would serve as a deterrent effect upon U.S. leaders such PRESIDENT GEORGE BUSH, VICE-PRESIDENT DICK CHENEY, SECRETARY OF STATE CONDOLEEZZA RICE AND ATTORNEY GENERAL ALBERTO GONZALES and members of Congress as well as top generals that they will be prosecuted for their further infliction of international crimes against Iraq.

Interesting, same "court" that is trying Serbs for warcrimes against muslims, to try Bush for... same "crime" Oh, Francise Boyl was representative of Bosnia in suit against Serbia for genocide over Muslims in Bosnia. He lost that one. Dr. Francis Anthony Boyle, is a professor of international law at the University of Illinois College of Law. He is a graduate of the University of Chicago and Harvard Law School. He also received a Ph. D. in political science from Harvard University. Between 1988 and 1992 Boyle was a member of the board of Amnesty International USA. He threatened to sue Amnesty for what he perceived as bias in its coverage of abuses against Palestinians’ human rights ; he has since been a critic of the organization. Boyle also charged that Amnesty’s staff had been infiltrated by US and UK security services (see Covert Action interview below). From 1991 to 1993, Boyle was a legal advisor to the Palestine Liberation Organization. Boyle is currently attorney of record for the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria and a member of the Nobel Peace Prize for Governor George H. Ryan Committee. Professor Boyle is a controversial figure at the University of Illinois. He worked to prevent a war between the United States and Libya in the 1990s, and speaks fondly of his interactions with Muammar al-Qaddafi. Professor Boyle has taken a strong stand against the actions taken by the United States in Afghanistan and Iraq following the September 11, 2001, attacks. He nevertheless maintains a highly visible public profile for a law professor, making appearances on such interview shows as Fox’s The O’Reilly Factor and Moneyline with Lou Dobbs. Boyle is a United States citizen, but also holds honorary citizenship of Bosnia-Herzegovina, which he received in 1993 while he was an adviser to Bosnian war-time president Alija Izetbegović. Boyle has also taken a strong stand in favor of Hawaiian independence and against a University of Illinois “pub crawl” that occurs on St. Patrick’s Day, arguing that the latter is offensive to persons of Irish nationality. In the former he uses a resolution signed by former U.S. President Bill Clinton apologizing for U.S. involvement in the overthrow of the Hawaiian monarchy as justification for Hawaiian independence. In the latter, he filed a complaint with the U.S. Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division, claiming that he had to endure a “hostile work environment.”[1] In 2002, Boyle protested a speech by Ruth Wedgwood, a law professor performing consulting work for the Bush administration, by equating her advocacy of military tribunals in the War on Terror to kangaroo courts. He underlined this point by accompanying an individual dressed in an anthropomorphic kangaroo costume, referred to as Wedgie the Kangaroo. More recently Boyle has been on the vanguard of movement to impeach U.S. President George W. Bush .

All these people want is to take the US army powers of Americans and put it for the use of a different executive.... from Sarah Oconnor justices claiming for "rule of law" (a sort of Justice commander in chief, basicaly), to congress meddling, to these nitwits, they all want in the end a suprious and different executive...

I say they are going to end up with either a sort of military dictatorship or a different and far more complex inheritence situation, or even complete mutilation and dissolution worldwide...

I'm popping the popcorn.

Well. Well. Well. Our tax dollars at work! We can look forward to more of this from the corrupt and degenerate UN, especially with the Democrats in power. First there will be a small percentage income tax to support the UN; it will be called dues. Unfortunately for all of us, we tolerate and have been supporting an organization dominated by members represented by socialist and communist governments. Can this be a surprise?

I almost hope it happens. Perhaps we could rid ourselves of this parasite if they tried to place the president on trial. And turnabout is fair play. Try Boyle for treason. See how he likes that.

Some people spend way too much time in Acedemics.

This guy is as looney as Daffy Duck.

Whats even worse is that we are probably subsidising the school that keeps this guy working.

Thanks for posting this. I've just e-mailed the fool with polite reminders of U.N. Resolution 1441, the term 'caliphate', and Neville Chamberlain. Boyle's e-mail address is available on the site if anyone else is interested in helping him with his apparent lack of education in these matters.

The moonbats HATE America. At least Francis Boyle is honest enough to admit he does.

Boyle is an extreme leftist wing-nut. Among other bizarre notions, he contends that Henry Kissinger engineered the overthrow of Allende. This, despite the fact that Kissinger consistently counseled Nixon to surrender to the communists, claiming that a worldwide soviet victory was inevitable. Kissinger maintained this position right up until the soviets crashed and burned, deriding Ronald Reagan as a muddle-headed cowboy who didn't understand world affairs.

It's well-documented that the planning and execution of the Chilean coup was strictly a Chilean military operation from start to finish, but that doesn't both Boyle.
