Are you talking about the film that Featured Don Johnson in his first starring role? I saw it once, being a Harlan Ellison fan. This film is only remarkable for being at least as poorly done as "Plan 9 from Outer Space."

Harlan Ellison was a jerk and nearly destroyed Science Fiction. I thought the movie was cool and came to the correct ending.
