Mark Levy Herald/Review 03-31-07 Sixteen-year-old Andrew Cook receives help from his father Dennis while planting a crepe myrtle tree at the Southern Arizona Veterans Cemetary Saturday. Cook enlisted the assistance of the Gardening Angels of Sierra Vista, Mrs. Jan Groth, VA Cemetary staff, Sierra Vista Methodist Church Boy Scout Troupe 445 and the Buena High School junior ROTC as well as other volunteers to plant some 36 trees at the facility. The Buena sophmore thought of the project to acquire his Eagle Scout badge with Troupe 445. Cook raised the funds by writing letters to the first of kin buried at the cemetary.
