Nice. Now go away, Gingrich.

We conservatives owe a debt of gratitude to Newt. He fought the Democrats tooth and nail for 15 years, all through the Reagan Presidency. His back bench tactics eventually brought down Speaker Jim Wright and Speaker Tom Foley. Newt along with Dick Armey, crafted the Contract With America based on past policy speeches of Reagan. Newt also was instrumental in the GOP gaining control of the Congress for the first time in 40 years.

As Speaker, Newt stood up to Clinton and pushed through 70% of the CWA. He was also the driving force behind impeaching Clinton. In the end, we conservatives might be looking to Newt for his intellect and creativity on ALL political matters. Leadership is another issue.

Bottom line. Newt beats the crap out of Rooty Toot!
