Yes, my two children and I went to see the movie last night. I could have waited, but my daughter did not want to wait.

I liked it. I would say if you liked the 2nd movie, you will probably like the 3rd better. There’s more action, more special effects, more swashbuckling, more things getting blown up, more fights, more adventure.

It’s probably too long,(2:45), but I don’t remember any specific time when I thought “They could have really shortened THAT scene or just cut it out”. But if I think back I could see a good 10 minutes that you’d never miss.

I thought there was a lot of good laugh lines and gags, to break up the “tension”.

Johnny Depp is in my opinion a great actor, and he does very well in this movie playing some pretty involved parts. Orlando Bloom is Orlando Bloom, he’s not getting any better.

Lots of twists and turns, maybe the plot is too involved but there wasn’t much “what was that about” whispering in the theatre I was in (usually if a movie is too confusing, you’ll get a lot of people asking their neighbors what is going on).

If you want to see this movie, I recommend seeing it in the theater unless you have a really kickin’ home theater system. It’s a big-screen adventure, to be sure.

The story itself is rather weak, but so was the 2nd movie story. It does well enough, but I wouldn’t go see this for the drama or the story line.

I really thought the "duplicates and rocks" scene with Depp could have been cut a LOT shorter.

I also had absolutely NO problem with Orlando Bloom, but I may be a little biased. :-)
