Definitely flakey. Mercury is actually a moon of Venus, our moon was captured from a planet between Earth and Mars, and Pluto is a moon of Neptune.
TVF’s holds the view that the “Face on Mars” is actually evidence for a former intelligent species there. It’s just an unremarkable natural formation. However, his view that Pluto is an escaped Moon of Neptune somewhat antedates his EPH, and he doesn’t think that the Moon is a captured former satellite of an exploded planet — his view is that the Moon was born of the Earth as a consequence of overspin as the heavier stuff sank to the core of the proto-Earth.

What evidence do you have about Mercury being an escaped satellite of Venus, also the capture theory for the moon has been abandoned by most mainstream astronomers.
Even from a Macroevolutionist viewpoint, Mercury probably isn’t a moon of Venus. It orbits the Sun normally and is in the same general plane as the rest of the non-dwarf planets (there are eight full planets in the Solar System). Also, it has a comparatively large core suggesting that it could have been larger at one time.
