DOWNTOWN SAN DIEGO – A trial began yesterday for a Los Angeles County man described as an anti-illegal immigration activist who fought with day laborers last year on a busy Rancho Peñasquitos road. John Matthew Monti, 36, was snapping photos of the men as they waited for work beneath a freeway overpass. The men, some of whom were undocumented immigrants from Mexico, objected to having their pictures taken, which led to the fight.

Here is one of the reasons why they are so angry. A U.S. Citizen is arrested for taking pictures of illegals. Why shouldn't they be pissed?

They aren't angry necessarily. But they ARE stupid. Displaying yourself like some nutbag then claiming to be the representation of conservatives arguing illegal immigration is stupid. IMHO, of course. Mr. and Mrs. Middle Class most certainly will take exception at the polls. And that makes me very angry. I've been to these protests. There is no way that guy walked across the street and confronted the "illegals". First of all because the "illegals" are supported by some fairly violent anarchists. No one goes near them.
