He has to decide what’s best for him. Clearly the Sox will be contending next year and they will have money to spend not only on him but perhaps on other key players as well. I see as departing:
Crisp, Hinski, Kielty, Schilling, Tavarez, Cora, Snyder, Gag-Me and perhaps even Manny. That’s 8-9 players off the normal 25 man roster. He would be some of the glue needed to meld a club house together.

BTW, the TBS broadcasters are the WORST I've listened to in decades - maybe ever (and that's a long time).
Kaz Matsui just hit a grand slam against the Phillies and the announcers "ho-hummed" it like it was Tiger knocking in a 3" putt.
