One guy who got busted was a dwarf who stood about 4’3” or
so. Hansen had to ask him to get back up on the barstool
(in a home) so he could be seen on camera...I thought,
wow, “Little People Big World” meets “To Catch A Predator”...

How about the respected doctor who’s caught and gets to call the wife and he has to break the news to her—honey, I need
(a few thousand bucks)...I’ll explain later.

One reality-TV show celebrates the season every year
with episodes showing prostitutes in a sting operation—
Cops. The episode titles, of course: “Ho! Ho! Ho!” :)

>>12/16/2006
Episode Detail: Ho! Ho! Ho! Special Edition #4 - Cops
A Las Vegas officer apprehends a suspected drug user who is a
transsexual; a Chattanooga officer questions a suspected prostitute.

NBC is gonna have their a$$es handed to them in civil court by the family of that lawyer in Texas who blew his brains out when Hansen showed up at his door. That family will sue...and win.

I have no problem...whatsoever...with police sting operations regarding pervs or any other other kind of criminal. But the involvement of a major network that NBC has in these cases would cause me,a juror,to vote "not guilty" in any such case I was involved in.Their involvement doesn't even come close to passing the smell test as does the involvement of a non-police entity like the organization that NBC hired to help them.A *police* sting* is a *police* sting...not some fat twerps led by a TV anchor who has some cops hanging around.

(Donning flame retardant suit now)

“Their involvement doesn’t even come close to passing the smell test...”

As long as you base your opinion on some non-existent “smell test”...
