Metal health is what we all need.
It's what we aught to have.

At least the ‘80s musicians have the good graces to drop dead instead of hanging on like a stinky old David Crosby or Striesand...

So he didn’t have another thing coming?

I was only a little kid when Quiet Riot’s biggest hit, Cum On Feel The Noise, hit the airwaves. It wasn’t until many years later that I found out that Quiet Riot didn’t actually pen the song, but instead covered Slade who performed the original.
IMO, Quiet Riot’s version sucked in comparison to the original version by Slade. Notwithstanding, I offer heartfelt condolences to Kevin's family.

Saw them perform in a local club couple years ago. Why he was still able at his age to outshout anybody in the room, and in key, is one of those mysteries.

Sad news. But it’s nice how the band all still love each other after so many years. Hope he didn’t suffer or was the victim of a crime.

Who’s next? Kip Winger? David Coverdale? I saw a show about Quiet Riot a couple of years ago. They were playing a gig at a nudist resort, in front of a bunch of naked old people. They had just reunited, and were repaying their dues. Sad news.
Here’s a little Slade in his honor, since he covered them so well.
