I can’t explain why, but every time I see this on, I watch. I don’t know if it is the satisfaction of watching these pervs squirm uncomfortably, or if it is the joy of seeing them arrested, but the appeal is much the same as watching “Cops”.

I strongly support cops doing internet stings on pervs. But when such an operation is so badly tainted by the participation of...or,better still...is so badly tainted by being under the direction of a TV network...the results, legally speaking, become worthless to me.If I were a juror in such a case and found that NBC was involved...my vote would be “not guilty”...period.

Does Dateline do anything besides this anymore? For that matter, does NBC News?

The only thing that could get me to watch Today would be to see Anne Curry eating a bug.
