No, they’re not at all responsible for the tiger getting out in any way whatsoever.
What are you crazy? It should in no way EVER be possible for a tiger to escape it’s confines.
What anyone did or didn’t do is completely irrelevant.
This is the reason people like me are so fed up with these punks, Mark Geragos, and this ridiculous “blame everyone but yourself, and sue for millions” society we are living in now. You and others who cry “it’s the zoo’s fault— they are liable” are the enablers for this bs. A guy was drunk and fell onto the subway tracks in Manhattan— he sued. An armed robber pulls a gun on a store clerk— he fires and misses— the clerk shoots him— he sues. A woman spills her coffee and burns herself—she sues McDonald’s— it goes on and on and on. These punks aided and abbetted that cat getting over that wall. They hold some responsibility.
“It should in no way EVER be possible for a tiger to escape its confines.”
Well, no tiger escaped in over 60 years from that pit.
What was different THIS TIME?
The rush of adrenalin can enable any creature to do the most amazing and unbelievable things.
What they did is NOT irrelevant, it is totally part and parcel of what happened. Cause/ effect/ personal responsibility/ idiocy/ Darwin.
I going to withhold judgment until we find out what actually happened.
Theres the court of law, and then there’s the Court of Karma. Irrelevance is one does necessarily constitute same in the other.
