A zoo is supposed to be designed in such a way that a zoo animal cannot get out regardless of how angry it is.

Pretty much end of the discussion.

If it can be proven these guys were a contributory factor, they should be punished, but this has nothing whatsoever to do with the zoo’s responsibility.

I agree with those who mourn the death of the tigress.

Agreed with your post, especially when this specific tiger had already attacked its trainer almost one year earlier. This tiger, as if any are, was not known to be docile.

Wild animals are caged to protect the public.....in reality, the public was not protected any better than the caretaker this tiger previously attacked.
