True, but the article references using the radiated power from high-voltage lines to activate essentially dead fluorescent tubes. They would glow with cold light.

Zombie lights, Dude! -- I think it's worth something.

The power companies don't like it because it is a drag on their systems. An unmetered drag on their systems.

You might get it for free, but they have to plow through your inductance traps.

If I were a farmer in this position, I'd bury the trap under the plowed soil. (Try not to be greedy. It tends to show.)
