Hope your daughter is able to build on her relationship with them too.

She is. They simply love her.

I had to laugh, too, about them loving to take baths and be clean.

When we first bathed them, we were prepared to be in a pitched battle. It could not have been more enjoyable. They'll stand still forever getting their hair brushed.

I towel dry them instead of blow dry. I don't want to dry out their skin. lol

Sounds like everything is going great...that is so good!

LOL. She was a short haired dog...Boston Terrier. She would stand still for her bath, but she was miserable the whole time, and would look at me like she wanted me to hurry up and have done with it.

I didn’t dry her hair completely dry. The reason I even began blow drying it in the first place was because she would begin running like a wild thing as soon as I finished towelling her. She would rub against the upholstered furniture and roll on the carpet. I knew it wasn’t because I didn’t towel her enough to get most of the moisture, so I decided to put the blow dryer on low and give it a try. She loved it! Ha.

She would always stand and watch us when we used the smell goodies, and act as if she wanted some of it too. We had a bottle of cologne that had been a gift, and none of us wore it, so we began putting a dab or two of it on her after her bath. No more running and rubbing on the furniture. She was a happy girl. Ha.
