Six million a year convert...40 or more (probably more) million a year are born. Unless Christianity is growig similarly in terms of birth rate and other conversions...in terms of numbers, ground is lost each year.

Yet islam has pushed aside Roman Catholicism as the world’s largest religion.

There are a large number of RC's that are joining other Christian Churches. Also, the birth rates among muslims is much higher than that of most Christian Churches.

Whatever Christian Churches they are joining this is good news.

Nothing like a taste of freedom to make you hate those that would oppress you. Just imagine how this could spread throughout the middle east, if they can continue on the road to becoming a modern society.

It is because of the missionary efforts in the countries of Africa and in a special way in Asia, for example because of lot of that church has to be underground because of government oppression they say China could have up to 100 million Christians. That is the wild card.
