Why does FR keep logging me out? (Vanity)

I generally use the convenient setting on my account, which keeps me logged in until I log out. Lately, though, everytime I close my browser I have to log in again. Is this a function of the new FR? Or have my kids messed with something on my computer (likely). Thanks for any help!

well, I don’t dare ask if you’re logged in, LOL. Sounds like it may be some sort of privacy settings in your browser. Maybe the browser is set to clear all your cookies, or sumthin’ like that. Give us more info and we may be able to tell you more...

Select “convenient” at the login page. Make sure your browser privacy settings are not set to delete cookies automatically upon closing the browser.
If those don’t work you’ve probably been hacked by DU and your login name is being used to post on the gay/lesbian forum over there.

You have probably changed your cookie settings. Security programs will sometimes do this for you, without your knowledge. FR uses a cookie to store your login credentials.

Maybe the kids are deleting all offline content and cookies so you don’t know where they have been.

Okay, I checked my browser settings and they seem okay, but I did put FR in the “always allow cookies” area. We’ll see if that helps.

THAT is a very likely scenario. Methinks I must have a chat with my teenaged girls. They’re generally good, and I swear they’ve never even seen MTV and the like in our house, but they know I can see their facebooks, so that may be what’s going on.
