When I read this, I immediately thought of so many corporate offices, and how they so admire Loud, to the detriment of all other things.
I’m not against Loud, per say. I’ve met many “Louds” and they can be fine people. It’s just that Loud is also wrong, from time to time, but nonetheless seems to get promoted regularly, and is seldom confronted. You see, Loud is intimidating, even to Loud’s own bosses. (especially if they happen to be idiotic “peace at any cost”, bosses” So, rather than call him out, they curl up behind their desks and let Loud get his way.
I have fired Loud on many occasions, and I often discriminate in hiring because I don’t want to deal with the empty rhetoric that often accompanies Loud, as an employee. Loud is a bully, and he should shut up and get his a** to work.
You are so right on this. Most excellently stated! “Louds” often get goodies, like promotions and raises, even tho undeserved.
