Obama as a Lightworker, that rare kind of attuned being who has the ability to lead us not merely to new foreign policies or health care plans or whatnot, but who can actually help usher in a new way of being on the planet, of relating and connecting and engaging with this bizarre earthly experiment. These kinds of people actually help us evolve.

There is nothing new under the sun. We have to re-learn that once in a while, usually at great expense.

Can some liberal PLEASE tell me when the last time this actually happened? I assume Buddha and some other PC religious figure would qualify under Morford's definition here. Can anyone tell us how much better behaved central Asian cultures have been since Buddha? Did the Killing Fields in Cambodia not happen? Did Communists not intentionally starve millions in several Asian nations? Are land wars in Asia generally not known to be particularly vicious? I'd make an argument that Asian behavior is worse now than it was before Buddha's era.
