If you can convert your music files to MP3

I'm going to have to read up on just what that is and if it can be converted.

I find the selection of music is one of the most important aspects of an effective photo show, especially personalized ones like what you’re talking about.

I agree. And that song is perfect for what I want to do.

If the photos run too long, I have another song I want to add, "Turn Around" by The Kingston Trio. However that song won't be appropriate for my two sons. I'll find something specifically written for sons as their second song.

I'm also in the process of converting our family VHS home movies to DVD so I can give them each a copy. It will save trouble after hubby and I have gone to meet our maker.

Let me know if you need some tutoring getting through your first slide show.

One of the things that Nero does that is very helpful for the timing and coordinating with the length of your background music: you can change the display time of each slide or you can change the display time for all of the slides (from this slide to the last). You can see how that works with your music and then decide which slides to linger on and which ones to speed up. If/when your music changes pace, you can slow-down or speed up your displays which works nicely, I think.
