I just thought he looked and sounded great. Gone is the smiling Jack, affable-fella demeanour. He must have had some nails with his granola today.... Here's a guy that can talk tough on Iran, and knows what he's talking about in specifics... And, I'm a McCain skeptic. Stark contrast to the Obama and his Platitudes -- which sounds like an oldie's band. Anybody else see it?
Someone needs to tell him to stop it! Along with his "my friends" line!
McCain has a strange sense of humor that will get him in trouble.
BHO, AKA "He of the Golden Tongue, The Chosen One, The Anointed of Allah, Bhudda, and Baby Jesus" would never stoop so low as to use a "platitude."
Our next President, Allah Willing, has invented an entirely new type of oratorical device. He combines mixed metaphor, with half-truths, distortions, and spiced-up outright lies. It is called an
It is particularly useful for answering any question, even embarrassing ones. It's actually an old African custom. Because they had no written languages, history and truth were the latest story told around the campfire. (Our version: VFW Bar War Stories and John Kerry's Swift Boat Adventures).
This will make Obama a really great international President because our enemies won't even know they are our enemies while we sneak up on them like Muslim caravan robbers. OTOH, we may be attacked by foreigners who are unaware that they are our friends.
I have also suggested to Obama (AKA The Saviour of Our Bush-Ravaged Land) that he change his front names to a more American-sounding handle. I recommend Algonquin J. Obama. Goes with his oratorical style and his substance.
All that matters is beating Obama. This morning’s Rasmussen shows very mild lead closure. 4% now. The pounding on Obama flip flops may be finally appearing in the numbers.
Didn’t see him. But I know he needs to ‘take charge’ and start berating Obama and the Dems unmercifully with the inaccuracies, idiocies and lies. O r he can give it up.
BHO is going to deliver his at Denver's 75,000 seat stadium...I wonder if this is more of his arrogance or it there is a little methodology that is not going to be widely announced...like maybe a free concert by Dave Matthew's Band or U2 or both...just before speech time?
Good. If McCain can keep closing in and Obama is forced to debate then McCain can put the final nail in Hussein’s coffin.
I am curious as to when the best time to launch the onslaught on Obama’s leftist reality is. Timing is everything, and I will admit I don’t envy the decision makers in the McCain campaign. Given the money situation and the oddity of this particular race, there isn’t a slam dunk answer. Though I think he ought to be gearing up to unleash the mother of all groundswell campaigns in Ohio, PA and MI in particular.
this is so painful to watch.. “my friends” indeed.. I just can’t stand watching McCain speak. He is almost as bad as Gore was, and that is pretty bad. McCain is just throwing it away.
sorry, unless he does a huge makeover, in terms of his speaking style, I think it’s curtains for the Republicans. The people in this country are hung up on style, not substance, hence we have American Idol.
Nope...but I did see Mitt on Fox & Friends. He was handsome, charming and slammed Barry Hussein. I was thrilled. ;)
Obama thought on Iran....%^^%%&%*
Funny you should mention a free concert before Barry Hussein accepts the nomination.
I just told my sister yesterday, “I bet the Rolling Stones will give a free concert in the stadium before Obama accepts the nomination.”
McCain is talking about keeping our country safe from Iran.
Obama is regretting that he let his daughter go on TV.
Maybe when Obama figures out the whole parenting thing, he could come back and try for “leader of the free world”. It seems right now he should focus on getting his own life in order.
They couldn’t do it. Obama was able to pull off his previous “miracle” of 75,000 because he simply scheduled his event right after a popular concert.
Given the venue, if a rock band played before him, the Obama campaign would have to pay market price for the band — because the band can only donate $2300 each to his campaign (or maybe it’s $2450 now)
It isn’t too long before McCain either does or says something that upsets the majority of conservatives, so enjoy being impressed with McCain for as long as it truly lasts.
Just got back from Mars, eh?
Yes, true I saw it online. I’ve got an idea for their campaign slogan: McCain-Romney: Solid as a Rock. Or: Drill, Drill, Drill.
Works for me! ;)
