One thing to remember; if I’m not mistaken, the Gallup had Obama up by 9 right after the RNC convention and was the last to move to the trend.

Look, the DNC uses the Alinski Method to force people to believe they support Oboma, or to at least be afraid to say anything else, but it only works temporarily. It creates hate for other people (like class warfare, for example).
Most people don't really like to hate. Mc Cain expresses a calm and reassuring personality. When it actually comes to voting, people will gravitate toward Mc Cain. They'll see Obomas name, his picture will pop into their heads, and they will feel hate because that's what Oboma preaches, but will feel calm and reassured when they see Mc Cains picture and his calmness and strength. They'll pull that switch to STOP the hate they've been fed by Oboma and they'll vote Mc Cain.

Too many freedoms have been lost. Too much speech has been outlawed. Taxes are too oppressive. The rabid left has assaulted millions of Americans. There's a silent majority in America that wants it's freedom to live back, and I think they've just about had it with our huge, oppressive politically correct government telling them what they must think, believe, and tolerate.

I really do think we're going to hear from the silent majority a lot this election. I also think the left knows it. Magala is already saying there will be violence if Oboma is ahead in the Alinski type poll numbers, because he knows they're going to be way off. He's trying to scare voters to remember to do as they've been told - "Or there will be consequences.".

I guess I’m more independant-minded than most. I will vote my choice regardless of any an all polls. What is the matter with everybody else?

I really, really like to hate.

The left has the "poor" loathing the rich people who feed them. Shouldn't there be gratitude instead?
The left has woman not only hating men, but their unborn infants as well.
They have the kids being brainwashed in the schools to hate their parents, and anything that's self accountable.
The left encourages "racist" propaganda, and the blacks are raging against the whites even though every opportunity to succeed is available to everyone.
Now they're trying to get college kids enraged by "feelibng their pain" about student loans.

Yeah. They were forced to add the youth vote, but the pollsters already know that segment of society is unreliable when it comes to actually voting. Many are forced by left wing activist to register on campus. They register just to get the left wing freaks out of their faces so they can get to class. They have no intention of voting.

No, what they will do is tighten up their numbers a few days before the election. They are in the “depress the opposition” mode right now. They know they have to look credible for next time so they will begin to more accurately report the numbers beginning the last week.

Bump, Gallup still reporting a registered voter tracking poll today that has Obama up by 11 points. He may be ahead, but at least show some credibility and report your likely voter model as others are. And this doesn’t even touch the apparent huge number of Democrats in their recent sampling as others have noted.

Bump. Okay, it is really embarrassing that Gallup is still putting out a registered voter version of this poll 25 days prior to the election. By true comparison 25 days out from the 2000 election they had Bush and Gore tied at 45% each in their likely voter poll. And just by changing the dates in the URL to go even earlier they were using a likely voter version of their poll at least 8 days prior to that. So what gives Gallup? Trying to show inflated leads with Obama already above 50% are we?
