God cops can always be seen on patrol with a beer in the cruiser, beating their wives, and tasering their children.
And threatening to kill their father inlaw.

The only scandal is see here it the fact that the Commissioner was covering for Wooten. Give me a break!! And you can bet that if my son was tasered for fun by a cop I’d be looking for his head on a stake!
Personally, I think the Palin’s acted responsibly in seeking his firing, I think any family member would do the same if someone was harassing their family. Wooten clearly had many issues, many more than what is being told to us. He’s lucky he didn’t end up Grizzly food.
After reading the report, I would say that Monegan was fired for gross incompetence.
Monegan made the claim that they were pressuring him to fire Trooper Wooten during his tenure.
Yet on page 39 of the report we have ‘picture gate’.
On May 15, 2008, Commissioner Monegan dropped of a color photograph of a state trooper saluting at Governor Palin’s office for her to sign and present at the ceremony honoring Police on Memorial Day.
The Governor’s office called him and asked him “Why did you send a poster over here that has a picture of Mike Wooten on it?”
WOW. Talk about stupid.
But to make matters worse, Commissioner Monegan had no clue that the picture was of Trooper Wooten. He said that he didn’t know what Trooper Wooten even looked like.
The man was CLUELESS !!!
No wonder the Governor fired him.

This Monegan guy would have been Sh*t canned for this behavior regardless of whether the trooper in question was related to the governor.
Sending a picture of this guy to the governor while this is going on was direct insubordination. Followed by feigned ignorance.
Of course, with an Obama presidency, I would anticipate a dramatic increase in unjustified tazering of ordinary citizens by the “compulsory civil servant” police group.
