It was a scene of unity in the face of extreme tragedy Friday night.
As bagpipes pierced the cold air with the melancholy notes of "Amazing Grace" before Catholic's 48-20 win over Scott at Blaine Stadium, Catholic's cheerleaders locked arms at midfield with their Scott counterparts, who each clutched a single rose wrapped in a prayer blanket.
But there were unseen gaps in the line.

And on top of all this, Westboro was talking about coming out and protesting at the funerals. Bring it on - I'd like to see you try to get out of Scott county if you do it.
Why in the world would the Phelps bunch want to protest these children?
An unborn child and her grandmother. Mom has survived so far, but the last I saw was that she was in critical condition.
According to Phelps bunch, everyone, including the unborn, are guilty of blah blah blah. Bunch of idiots.
