Its been running in battleground states for almost a week which may expalin why Mason Dixon has McCain closing on Obama across the board. It's fabulous! Hubby and I gave GOPTrust.com some $$ about a week ago after we heard Dick Morris talking about it on Hannity & Colmes. It's really great to see our small donation go to such good use. I can't believe they have the money to run this ad during Sunday Night Football... I'm impressed! :o)
I saw the ad on CNN between 8-10pm (I was flipping thru channels during FNC's commercials). It ran in prime time... we almost fell off our chairs when we saw it!

I saw it here in Maryland during the football game and it didn’t even occur to me until I saw this thread.

“In your heart, you know he’s Wright.”
Amazing McCain’s people didn’t hit on that sooner. I’ve seen it here on FR for months.

Why wasn't this ad run right after the Hussein INFOMERCIAL in the World Series?
It might be part of some strategy. It looks like they tested it in a few markets in battleground states. It looks like it is working and the media/Obama camp hasn't freaked out about it. I think it's because they don't want to draw attention to it. Now, I expect to see it in heavy rotation until the last hour they can run ads. Maximum impact at the right time and leaves the Obama camp wondering what to do. Obama is very indecisive. Remember the Russia/Georgia conflict? It took him several days to finally spit something out that didn't sound stupid. Then, when McCain picked Palin, they were caught off-guard again and it took them several days to figure out how to handle her. With this ad hitting nationally now, they don't know if they should ignore it or show outrage. If they do the latter, they run the risk of bringing the ad more attention and having to defend Obama's relationship with Wright. Judging from their track record, they would prefer to see if the ad is having an effect before reacting. Well, in this case, the election will be over.

I feel like a trustee. :-} They collected 8 million in the last week not counting today. If McCain had done this right after the convention he would be in the drivers seat right now. Water under the bridge now though. Keep the faith, McCain can win the battlegrounds.

“but I think it is too late”
—been saying the same thing the past couple days. as much as i dread it - i wish we had another week.
the early voting sucks too because 1/3 of votes are already cast so those people can no longer be influenced by these adds.

Yes, but in Northern Virginia, through the Washington, DC, NBC affiliate. It appears it was a national buy, however.
