This is beyond contempt and brings into question their business practices and whether anyone should trust them.

Don’t trust them. I Don’t.
To: Jet Jaguar
I don’t, but can’t they be a little less obvious?

To be fair, I don’t know that this is necessarily the doing of Google, contemptible though their politics may be. It could be that the pro-Obama camp is paying more attention to keyword optimization for web searches, and so their efforts have a higher relevance and pop up at the top of the search.

Cut a deal with the guy who owns www.obamabirthcertificate.com - then link it to a map of Kenya

I would never trust google. I had tried putting in "Hostility towards Geroge Bush" and it brings back articles on the summary page like 1) Bush Shows 'Pattern of Hostility' Toward Civil Rights, 2) The Failed Presidency of George W. Bush: A Dismal Legacy, 3) Protests Show Rising Hostility toward U.S. Policies
and on and on. Last time I tried it, the first page results over 1/2 of them were stories about hostility towards Obama - go figure. The google algorithm has been jiggled to make sure no list of all 8 years of hostility towards George Bush ever shows up. They turn it around an show the articles that have hostility that Bush has shown. Try it. I also switched it around to "George Bush, hostility towards", with similar results.

Seems I read somewhere that some Google executive is involved with the Obama transition team or whatever. Just more controling of the information.

.... other groups (Obamaniacs) doing a "google bomb v2.0".
and at the Alfred E. Smith dinner, Obama made a reference to being born in a far away place (Krypton). Maybe, they'll try to direct traffic to stories about the dinner.

People, you don’t have to use google.
There’s a better search engine:

It wouldn’t surprise me. I hear the CEO of Google turned down a top cabinet spot. Must have been too much of a step down.

Apparently Google ran a model last year for the CDC with regard to flu hot spots. Google tracked searches by individuals (you and I) using words that related to the flu. Their model was so close to the CDC’s own statistical model of 2007 flu outbreaks that the CDC will be utilizing Google this year to try to get a jump on flu outbreaks.
So, now Google is tracking for the government, huge Obama supporters with a contract to track individual searches.
What else is Google “tracking” for the government? No, I don't trust Google.

Why does this surprise anyone? Soros gave them the money to start google... ergo he gives marching orders.

Somehow it seems that almost every information outlet is now a propaganda arm for the far left. What we need are investigative reporters who are willing to find the real news stories of our times. We need Conservative daily sources for news.
