Yes.
The regular singer has been replaced with somebody from Canada. The regular singer has some sort of respiratory problems. Huck didn’t play, because the YES guitar guy is a bass player. Obviously, I don’t know much about YES. I had to leave the room because my 22 month old g’baby was pulling me out for “cookies.” They sang, backed up by the Little Rockers (or whatever that band is called.)
Chris Squire plays a pretty good Amazing Grace on the bass.
Huckabee has a good show (except for the bill maher interview!).
I didn’t see this one, but will a later replay:
2:00 A.M. Eastern (Sunday)
or
8:00 P.M. Eastern (Sunday)
I hope you’re right. That show will be on again tomorrow night and I’ll be sure to watch. I have every single album from the debut through Magnification. One of my favorite bands for sure!
Man they look old ( yeah I know, they are...and so are we but.. you know.
I am a huge Yesfan! Saw them live two nights ago in Asbury Park. I was pleasantly shocked when I heard they were on with Huckabee.
Yes has many fans who are extremely leftwing (I have debated them many many times!) and I do not think that this sat well with some of the more fascist types.
Alan White of Yes has played with Huckabee before and is involved with a charity with him for getting children involved with music.
I also remember that Yes made an effort to help support some of the firefighters after 9/11 that were also big Yesfans. They had a firetruck decorated with a Yes image and name.
Chris Squire had put out an album with Billy Sherwood called Conspiracy (also the band name) after 9/11 which had a tribute song on it for 9/11 calling for military action against the terrorists.
I also know that Alan White has done some other stuff meeting with the airforce and even flying in a fighterjet or something.
I was at the Yes Radio City concert on 9/9/01. Yes played with an orchestra and the conducters podium looked like abit like the Twin Towers. Of course two days later our nation was attacked. My life has never been the same since and I still grieve for those that we lost that day and for our nation as a whole.
