FREEP If you live or know someone who lives in Georgia make sure they vote Saxby Chambliss tommorrow

It is a must that Saxby pulls it out tommorrow. If the Democrats get to 59 with a there is a decent chance they will just install Al Franken as Senator and know their is nothing that anyone can do to stop them for 2 years.

It is important if you don't live there to call everyone you know there. Or if you can influence other people who have friends or family there ask them if they can do the same, turnout is critical in this race.

My liberal step-sister is in Georgia - I’m not calling her because it might remind her to vote....lefty as usual. She may forget if I do nothing.

Yep, let’s hope Chambliss gets this runoff.

And you figure Al Franken and the Dems. will know the results of Georgia tomorrow before they have to decide about going to court in Minn. or having Harry Reid intervene to determine who should get the Minn. Senate seat. If the Dems. win Georgia to get to 59 senators, then expect a full court press in Minnesota to get Al Franken in there. It will be like Florida 2000 with challenges of hanging chads, absentee ballots filled out wrong, etc.

“I’m not calling her because it might remind her to vote”

If she calls you should make a persuasive argument that she should write-in a vote for Al Franken as he’s only 250 or-so votes from winning.

I agree with you on Saxby cutting the bailout deal and the offshore drilling gang of 10 to undercut the house. Voting out RINO’s take priorities in most cases.

The exceptions to me are when Democrats are close to 50, 51 w/o Pres, or 60. The stakes are too high and this race gives us only a choice between Rep. & Dem.

I would think the Libertarian is at least nominally supporting Chambliss.

You're exactly right; the Dem Senate will seat Al Franken from Minnesota if Saxby Chambliss loses tomorrow giving them the magic number of 60.

THIS IS A MUST WIN FOR THE GOP. Hopefully, a Chambliss win will end the recount fiasco in MN.

The Dem candidate will not have the Obama coattails in the runoff. The Welfare Queens, pimps and Crack HOs will not get out of bed in time to vote this go around.

still if we have a majority in the senate or congress what difference does it make when the rinos reach across the aisle , might as well have a rat majority.

Saxby is not perfect yet Martin is simply unacceptable. Worse still is a filibuster proof US Senate where debate is no longer required.
