Hey, the Congress in general is a joke these days, why not have a comedian as part of it.

In fact, I think we should get more stand-ups in there. I can just see a Congressman Craig Shoemaker arguing with Nancy Pelosi over some bill. THAT would be great theater. (Anyone who has seen Shoemaker’s act will appreciate this one)

“What tools are left to the minority to stop destructive, anti-American legislation sure to come?”

Not many ways to stop the Dems, but some Dems such as Tester of Montana and Nelson of Nebraska at times join with the Republicans, along a few others.

I now know what it must have felt like, for the men on Corregidor.

They knew their position was lost, they watched the hordes approaching, and they knew there was nothing to stop them, and no help would come.

The only course was to surrender, and submit to the coming Death March, knowing that they could not affect the outcome, except that each day they survived was a small victory.

Even with this seat, the lib/dems will be in control of Congress, the executive branch, and (after a few hundred judicial appointments around the country), the judiciary.

Anyone have specifics on the 100 votes “found” that ALL happened to be for Frankin?

So we count until the Democrats win. What the F*CK is that?

Both Houses are starting to remind me of the old movie classic Carnival of Souls.

From an ‘atlas shrugged-esque point-of-view’ only when society has fully been ground to a hault due to the libs will there be any hope of true reform.

Time to go underground against the socialists, throwing sand in the gears of the system when no-one is looking.

“Those who cast the votes decide nothing. Those who count the votes decide everything.” —Josef Stalin (attributed)

The problem with aiming for a comeback in 2010 or 2012 is that the Democrats have ACORN, Project Vote, the MSM, Soros financing and a blank check to violate every campaign law they care to. The gutless GOP isn’t going to do or say anything about it. I am not even sure they disagree with the Democrats that much any more.

The GOP, when not actively assisting the Democrats (cue John McCain), are playing by the Marquess of Queensberry rules while the Democrats are playing with a set of rule considerably more ruthless. So how does a dispirited GOP who are rightly held in contempt by a lot of conservatives win an election against corrupted state officials and election tampering?

Answer? Bearing in mind a 5% shift in the vote moves victory from one party to the other, I don’t think they do win!

So it’s come to this. We’ll soon have someone in the White House with terrorist ties and a crude, sophomoric “comedian” who had to cheat and steal to win office. Where are the grown-ups? This is beyond embarrassing.

Look, if the MN Republican party is so decimated, so weak, with so kittle support that they could lose to a genetic mutant leftist then they deserve to be put down like a horse with a broken leg...................This why we need a competitive (not a nut-job! Libertarian) party in America. We need to finish off the Republicans, although I must say, with people like McCain they seem to be extinguishing themselves!
