-$400 million for state and local governments to buy brand new energy efficient cars
-$2.4 billion for carbon capture demonstration programs
-$350 million to research using energy efficient technology on military bases
-$300 million for grants and loans to state and local governments for projects that reduce diesel emissions, "benefiting public health and reducing global warming"
-$500 million for energy efficient manufacturing demonstration projects.

Sub-prime broadband? — “$6 billion for broadband and wireless services in underserved areas”
A quick calculation, and it appears almost $8 billion is going to be allocated already for the AlGore’s phony global warming crap and enviro-wacko appeasment. We’ve not even gotten to the Kyoto costs that are coming soon, when the U.S. signs on to the global funding of junk science and wealth transfer to the Third World Countries.
I thought that is why we pay the Universal service fee BS (aka The Gore Tax) on the phone and cable bills?
