Anyone else experiencing weird things with FR or is it just my computer?

My FR keeps going into a "saftey mode". After a few clicks, it goes back to normal. Is it me?

Me too. I’m using firefox. Still usable, just looks different. Formatting is gone.

no. very slow for a few days, the speed is much better now. The page reloading I don’t mind

Yes, the formatting seems to disappear, then come back. 2 other states seem to be okay. I wonder if it's state by state.

Relieved it's not my computer with some freaky virus.

Yes, it’s as if the template for the page is gone. All the text is there and if I refresh the page a time or two it reverts back to normal.

Mine came up in safe mode about 1/2 hour ago. I just rebooted and it was back in normal mode. I think it is related to the server problems yesterday.

The look-and-feel of the ABOUT pages are different on my machine, as of about an hour ago.

The last couple of days FR was really slow.

Yeah, it started yesterday and continues periodically today.
I’ll click to reload the page, and end up with no banner at the top. Everything: Free Republic-Forum-Account-Mail-Pings-Post-Sign Out, etc. is all to the left under each other. When I’ve clicked on the top Free Republic link, I get a page that says Error 503 Service Temporarily Unavailable. Reloading sometimes brings the regular page back, but I’ve also had to close the window, and open it again using my bookmarks just to get the normal page back.
