There are two things here that you’re missing: First of all, as far as I was aware, Presidents weren’t restricted from actually having personal email, there were just so many rules and regulations about disclosure of the contents of a personal email account that until now, they decided it just wasn’t worth the hassle. Second of all, Obama still has Secret Service protection, and most every President has had a ‘bodyman’, it’s just not something that registered in the public eye.

In any case, the whole executive orders thing still bothers me...

He should certainly not be legislating by executive order. There is supposed to be a system of checks and balances.

Has he even signed a single bill from Congress yet?

The media will gush over his accomplishments in the first 100 days. But how many were anything but executive rule?
