Is anyone having Google issues? Every search gives a warning under each web site. I have been using dogpile myself, but this freaked hubby out this morning.
Warning - visiting this web site may harm your computer! For detailed information about the problems we found, visit Google's Safe Browsing diagnostic page for this site.
For more information about how to protect yourself from harmful software online, you can visit StopBadware.org.
If you are the owner of this web site, you can request a review of your site using Google's Webmaster Tools. More information about the review process is available in Google's Webmaster Help Center. Sorry for the vanity, first post and I hope I did it alright. Hubby woke me up and the coffee hasn't hit yet.
Yes, I am getting it to. I’m sure the staff at google is really freaked out about it right about now.
Maybe the warning should be written as follows:
This Site may have information that is Dangerous as it goes against the Agenda of “THE ONE”
that’s what I’m waiting to see.
God Help us!!!
Thank you, I did try a search. Just still groggy here. He was searching for ammo and thought he did something wrong.
Yep...just happened to me too.
Yep, got the same ‘Warning’ a few minutes ago. But other links further down were okay.
try the scroogle scraper, not sure of exact address but it is usually easy to find.Been using it for awhile now.
I’ve stopped using google. I am now using ixquick as my search engine. They state very publicly on their website that they are not data collecting and don’t store your ip address.
I’m just glad he won’t click on anything. I’m no computer whiz and he knows less than I do. I always tell him to close it out rather than check it out lol.
Thank you for the info. I have to wean him off google.
In fact, there are hundreds, some of which are specialized and just might be more suitable for your particular search than Google.
There's a site, beaucoup.com that contains a compendium of a whole bunch of them.
Frankly it's past time for us all to be boycotting Google, as they're clearly showing their political agenda and skewing what they present to us as what ought to be unbiased search results.
But on the Google search result page, my AVG and my Firefox WOT plug-in BOTH say FR is safe, like we don't know this.
Anywho, I bet Google is having fits right now.
Lefties hacking lefties - how un-Lefty can one get.
Something fishy has been going on for at least a week, involving Google.
I had an unusual Firefox configuration, in that I still use the long-overdue-for-an-update FF preloader. Suddenly, repeatedly, I started getting browser crashing memory errors, but only when trying a web search in Google.
No other websites, no other programs created or were affected by the problem. And FF “knew” that it had been crashed, and properly recovered.
Since I have used FF preloader for years, and it is very stable, the problem almost has to be that Google is doing something invisible and questionable, that it just started doing.
On top of that, now I learn that Microsoft is trying to violate Firefox as well. But this one doesn’t involve me, at least I don’t think it does:
http://www.robertnyman.com/2009/01/26/microsoft-force-installs-firefox-extension/
“Microsoft force-installs Firefox extension
The update I installed was Microsoft Visual Studio 2008
Service Pack 1, and naturally it was needed as an update
to Visual Studio...
...What came as a complete surprise to me is that it also
installed an extension in Firefox, mentioned nowhere in the
documentation and not as an optional install in the installer.
Ok, bad and annoying enough, but things were about to get
worse...
Trying to uninstall it from the Add-ons menu
(Tools > Add-ons in Firefox), the Uninstall button is disabled!
Yes, my dear developers, Microsoft has actually and intentionally
made it impossible to uninstall it!...”
ping
That’s been happening to me, too. I also keep getting a pop-up to update Firefox.
Censorship? Can’t get into sites when googling...Constantinople Crowley

Altavista.com has an excellent search engine, has been around longer than Google AND is not run by a bunch of immature leftists.
Please stop supporting the enemy!
I really hate feeling paranoid, especially before being fully awake.;)
