Very young. Ritchie and Buddy were way before my time. I learned about Buddy’s work, bought a few reecords and he was so far ahead of everyone.
I rediscovered Ritchie when Rush’s parody guy did a parody of Ritchie’s “Donna” calling it “Obama.”
The parody was hilarious and catchy. I then found Ritchies version on YouTube. A very well written ballad for a 17 year old. Very sad because he had a lot of talent.
