Apparently ecstasy is fun, fun, fun until the big crash and then big time anxiety and depression for 24 hours or so.

Sounds like the last time I went horseback riding. Left me with a big black eye right before my husband's job's ~~Christmas~~ holiday party.

I would say that analogy was exactly how I felt...except my horses name was Princess, not Ecstasy!!! LOL!
