Same here. Distantly my haplogroup is IA1, which is called the Viking haplogroup. My most recent ancestors were Irish and English. Strange to contemplate that I may have berserkers in my lineage.
My neighbor, who is an immigrant from New Zealand, is also I1a.
The R1b's spent the Ice Age in the Iberian refuge while the I's were in the Baltic refuge at the same time.
