I am involved in rescue as a foster home, but I honestly agree with you. It sometimes seems it may be easier to adopt a child than a dog from some of these rescues. They act like they want people to adopt, but they make it nearly impossible.
I know I’m painting with a broad brush, and not all are like that, but from stories here and elsewhere, it sure seems like too many like to think of themselves as saviors and thus, ironically, look down on anyone who gets a PUPPY from her BREEDER. Which is what AKC and all were telling us a few years back - “buy from a reputable breeder” (OK, I know, I have a few beefs with that, too).
