I am starting to adopt a new concept on taxation. First, only the EARNER pays taxes on income. That said if your parents EARN the income they pay taxes. If they pass away you INHERIT the money, you do not pay taxes. Second, you should pay taxes based on how much risk you take to EARN the money. If a person invest a million and makes $100,000 his taxes should be a lot less than someone who invest $100,000 and makes a million. Think of this ... a person who invests 10 million dollars in a business and make $5 million would pay a lot less then an actor or actress who invests nothing and get $10 million for making a movie. That would make HOLLYWOOD the highest taxed people on the planet. Somehow, that sounds fair to me.

The ‘proposed’ taxes from the Obama admin are an attack on poor people, especially the cap and trade taxes that will send energy sky high. Can the poor go out and buy all the over priced solar panels and electric cars that will be required to keep their energies costs down??? No way...

I saw a couple of black folks with Obama hats on at the Philly rally. It seemed they were there looking for something to be offended by. After a short while they realized it wasnt a Klan rally and then quietly left. I didnt see anyone give them any odd looks or say anything to them. No doubt the situation would have been quite different if it was a liberal rally and 2 people showed up wearing Bush hats.
