His real crime was not playing ball with his party. Robert Toricelli did very much the same as Traficant was convicted of (only much larger numbers) and the democrats wouldn’t even censure him.
If he ran for Congress I would vote for him if I lived in his district. My impression is that he seems to cut through the political B.S. and get to the point. I would like to see him run as a Republican.

I liked the guy. He had more guts than most of the other GOP’s put together. And he went down for that reason.

His undoing if I remember correctly was when he went on Fox News and said that Janet Reno was being blackmailed by lesbian prostitutes. I personally believed that there was a very good possibility, after what guy in his right mind...I won’t go there. But true, it was irrelevant, they couldn’t leave him there, that was just too much even for the Clintons and their countless atrocities.
I can’t believe it has been this long! I am glad he is going to be free again! I loved him! Regardless of his so called crimes, the current crop of dem reps is 10x worse!
