a 12 year old is in 7th grade, and a 10 year old in fifth.
I’m not saying what she did was necessarily right, but it wasn’t like leaving a 2 year old in the middle of the road.
You are right - I was so stunned that anyone would think this was ok that I did get the grades/ages wrong in my head and didn’t think about it after I posted that - but still, a kid who might be normally watching a video in a car, or playing a game - not watching the streets or surroundings might have no idea how to get home from a city corner 3 miles from home.....
