A California man has been jailed on torture and cruelty charges after he allegedly bit his 4-year-old son's eye, blinding the child.
Angelo Mendoza, 34, is accused of biting the boy's eyeball out of his face and eating it, according to WCTV.
The child's eyes were swollen shut — one of them mutilated beyond repair, police said — and he had several bite wounds on his hands, the station reported.
Mendoza appeared to be on PCP at the time of the attack, according to the police report.
He's been charged with aggravated mayhem, torture and cruelty to a child and is being held on $1 million bail. The boy has been placed with child protective services.

PCP is back? PCP is what those awful girls in DC were taking in the late 70s when they dragged some Italian-American mother of 7 off the street and tortured her to death in a garage. I remember reading a statement by one of the woman’s children at the sentencing.
PCP (which, speaking as a horse owner, is great for tranquilizing large animals) seems to turn human beings into monsters.
Read an article about it earlier. The child told police, “Daddy ate my eyes.” I’m still almost physically sick at the quote from that poor child.
This bastard doesn’t deserve to see the outside of a prison ever again. I know that they are claiming some sort of mental breakdown but this is so cruel and barbaric that this man should never be trusted again outside of a prison.
Waiting for the “legalize it, then tax the hell out it” crowd to defend dopers rights again.
