story" is about to those who follow him, you probably
ought not use Him to bolster your arguments. Otherwise,
you should expect “disagreement”.

There are multitudes of disagreement even within Christianity itself, thus the splitting of it into countless factions, each with their own specific ideas of what constitutes the “truth.”

As for my spiritual “commitment” (your word), it does encompass the Christ story but that constitutes only a part of it. This is not to diminish the Christ scenario, only to say that my beliefs are not limited to it.
