Wall Street Journal: Director Mike Judge’s new animated television series “The Goode Family” is a send-up of a clan of environmentalists who live by the words “What would Al Gore do?” Gerald and Helen Goode want nothing more than to minimize their carbon footprint. They feed their dog, Che, only veggies (much to the pet’s dismay) and Mr. Goode dutifully separates sheets of toilet paper when his wife accidentally buys two-ply.

I saw a preview of it and it looks funny as hell. I liked ol’ Hank of King of the Hill, too.

I’m amazed this show is even beyond the talking stage - it’s not politically acceptable, to say NOTHING of politically correct.

Mike Judge, creator of Beavis and Butthead. One of my favorites. If anyone can skewer the libs, Mike can.
I won’t watch it - I don’t like any of these cartoon-like shows although I note that the younger (35 and under) crowd really seems to go for shows like The Family Guy, and so on. Guess I’m too short on time to invest in it but the trailers did look pretty hilarious.
I’m a huge Mike Judge fan.
Prediction: It’ll get pulled right quick.

Oh my sweet lord I just watched the preview this looks several levels beyond awesome. Mike Judge is almost on the level of Parker and Stone. I’ll be watching either when its on or on hulu.
