ORLANDO, Fla. -- Superman swooped in just in time.

Dwight Howard scored 10 points in overtime and the Orlando Magic, raining down 3-pointers like a Florida thunderstorm, withstood 44 points and a last-second shot by LeBron James for a 116-114 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday night to take a 3-1 lead in the Eastern Conference finals.

Too bad the NBA won't get its Kobe-Lebron dream matchup. Look for the refs to try to intervene. LOL

Naw...even the refs can’t help this mismatch. Whorelando making every 3 and Cavs turning the ball over at critical moments. If the Cavs win this series it will not be because of the refs....it will be a huge choke job by the Magic. I can’t stand these guys. Yes I’m bitter and a Cavs fan. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

They've been trying. I can't stand watching basketball because of all the fouls called, so it was just two nights ago when I saw LeBron James play for the first time.

I couldn't believe the calls this guy was getting. It's no wonder he scores so many points as the other team picks up a foul just by breathing on the guy, so they let him go when he drives.

Howard got called for two of them. One which was an awesome stuff - nothing but ball. Foul. Another where James went up for the shot and Howard took a swipe about 7ft up. Replay showed Howard never touched him. Foul. Even the announcers were getting embarrassed about it and they had the LeBron James show going full-force.

Refs tried to give the Cavs the win..drive to the lane with 4 seconds left and LeBron got the call.. LOL I thought refs were not supposed to decide outcomes of games..yeah right. NBA has been rigged for years, I am shocked that the NBA isn’t making sure the Cavs win. I am stunned at all this. They have been kissing LeBron’s ass for the past year. I just hope my Lakers win tomorrow. I HATE the THUGGETS

Whoda thunk? It looks bad for the Lakers, even.

What a snooze fest (ratings-wise) these finals will be. Denver vs. Orlando.

Might not be as blatant as when Jordan was getting away with murder, but the stars get the calls 90% of the time.

True, but at least Jordan made it look good. James is just a moose.

LOL! Yes, JR Smith flashing Piru Blood gang signs in the middle of the game hasn't gone unnoticed by the blogs...even the NBA might eventually figure it out. :)

Not really a fan of any of the remaining teams (actually, not really a fan of the NBA anymore), but I have to say the ORL-CLE series has been quite the battle - razor thin victory margins in all but one of the games.

The refs already gave it to LBJ during the end of the game before OT...

Varejao literally man-handled Dwight Howard during a last second alley-oop and didnt get the call. Yet the Magic still managed to win in OT. I live in L.A. and as a Laker fan, Kobe is surrounded by overrated big men like Euro weenie Pau Gasol.

The Celts-Bulls was highly entertaining as well.

“Look for the refs to try to intervene.”

Based on what I’ve seen this year, the NBA playoffs are no longer fixed. The Donaghy scandal, combined with the lasting stench of what happened in LA in 2002, finally put a scare into the league. They were scared straight.

exactly! see the ‘93 seattle/phoenix match up’s last game foul totals. it HAD to be barkley against jordan in the finals and the refs were damn sure that it was gonna happen and they clearly had their ‘instructions’. I’m 100% sure there were other games like this throught the years but this one I remember as so blatant and transparent that it was ridiculous.

Couldn’t watch the last few minutes. This is just depressing. Oh well, it was quite a year from the Cavs! Love those boys!

Being a life long Sonic fan and attendee at that series, I know you speak the truth.

The NBA isn’t fixed? Of course it’s fixed..49 free throws for Denver last night, let me guess, Denver was the more aggressive team LOL. The second I saw that Salvatore and Mauer were the refs, I knew we would lose. Salvatore and Mauer are the two worst refs in the NBA. The only way to make the NBA legit is by abolishing the free throw. Get rid of it altogether. If I want to see a bunch of people shoot free throws all day I can go to the playground and watch them do it. Free throws decide outcomes of games, and it’s not right

Looks like Orlando and Denver didn’t get the memo, lol.

Go Mavs..next year. (ducking and running for cover) Not that we have a shot at it.

That was sort of a surprise. I thought New Orleans would relocate in OKC.
