GATLINBURG, Tenn. (May 29) Chris Turner normally wouldn't drive 30 miles into the remote Tennessee mountains just to deliver a pizza. The one time he did, he came upon a scene that drained the color from his face and made him "numb from head to toe" a woman with her hands tied, silently begging him to call 911. It was no joke, and Turner, 32, rushed to a nearby house and made that call.

sounds like a God thing, praise Him, she is alive. Love ya pizza man!
God Bless this man. He saved her life, and maybe other future victims.
No one should drive 30 miles out into the woods unarmed either.
Hope she orders pizza from him ever week for now on.
Wow not too many newstories leave me speechless anymore. This is truly amazing.
This was such an unlikely save. Can you imagine the number of similar instances in which the victim does not get this lucky. Very very scary.
They need to start digging on the property i am sure this is not the first time for the perp..
Sound familiar? Good thing he didn’t “mind his own business.” It’s nice to know there are still some real men left in this world.
No one should drive down the block unarmed
Hope that doesn't made me sound paranoid!
This guy did a great thing, but who drives 30 miles just to deliver a single pizza? If you’re doing that I guarantee you’re losing money. Just on a whim this guy decides to drive 30 miles to deliver a pizza where normally there’s not a snow ball’s chance in hades any smart business could make a profit doing this? In fact they would lose money.
It has to be. It makes no sense to use that much gas to deliver a pizza.
It sure is. Someone I’d like to have living next door.
I don’t know, guys... I’m a little suspicious about this whole thing. For instance, if you were a woman, would you get into the car of some guy who was just a customer at your restaurant/bar? Her timing was too perfect; she jumped up while her abductor took what?...(I’m guessing)... 5 seconds to sign a receipt, showed her tied-up hands, spun around and mouthed “Please call 911.” The abductor didn’t hear the “commotion” going on a few feet behind him while she was doing this, etc.? Cops are very suspicious people, too... I’m sure if there was any hanky-panky going on, they’ll flush it out.
WTH ? Released on $800,000 bond?If this nation were healthy this person would have been lynched instead. I am dead serious.
“She got into the vehicle....”
That’s the weird part of the story. But it does say the guy frequented her business; so maybe she felt safe. Still, in light of what happened, seems odd.
The Lord moves in mysterious ways.
Wow!
