'The Goode Family,' a new half-hour animated comedy show which spoofs the politically-correct and environmental do-good thinking of a liberal family which considers its lifestyle superior to abstinence people who wear flag pins, debuted this past Wednesday night on ABC. The opening scene showed a Support Our Troops...And Their Opponents bumper sticker on the family's hybrid.

Funny show.
And hey, the son of the family isn’t the only non-African
African-American out there. Don’t forget Te-ray-za Heinz
Ketchup, er, Kerry!
(non black I mean)
I hate TV but might check this one out!
I’ve watched it four or five times. It seems to get better each time I watch it. Some of the jokes are too subtle to pick up the first time through, like the bumper sticker on the car “Earth First. Ask Questions Later”.
It was pretty funny. I laughed out loud when I found out their son was named “Ubuntu”. Although they pronounced it you-buntu, and I always thought it was oo-buntu.
And I liked the line, “I thought after the election it was ok to wear a flag pin again.”
I liked how they explained that it was OK that their south african son was OK because it showed that something good could come out of two white oppressors.
I’m too lazy to go look....... ;)
What time is it on?
It was great! I would be willing to bet 90% of the ‘libtards’ didn’t get it at all!
Note to Self And Lurkers:
The series, from Mike Judge who created Beavis and Butt-Head for MTV and King of the Hill for Fox, will debut Wednesday night at 9 PM EDT/PDT, 8 PM CDT/MDT.
:)
You’re welcome.
Go to the link and then go about halfway down and read the comment about brainwashing. Apparently the guy that wrote the comment is in the entertainment/writing industry and according to him the joke is really on us. (He really wrote more of an article than a comment.) His take was that the first episode was much more a denunciation of Christian values than an attack on liberalism. He said that the message of the show was really just a spoof on how the liberal message is transmitted, not liberalism itself, but it was an attack on the actual message of Christianity.
That was an extremely good comment / article on that page.

His language “guardian character” and “contagonist” seem to be
popularized here -
I believe it was 8pm CST Wednesdays on ABC.
I guess we'll see as more episodes are aired. I'll make up my own mind on it though. I'm not automatically going to buy into this guy's take on the show, just because he feels his ox is being gored.
