Link Wray may not be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, proper, but he is in the Library of Congress.
And I find it odd that we put British groups like the Who in our LoC. At least there was proper recognition of Winston Churchhill and the threat of Communism.

+11 for Link Wray. I play Rumble all the time when I want to just crank the guitar and hear sustain. Very underated and way ahead of his time in terms of electric guitar usage and distortion.
