I had a hard time when Dan Rooney thanked Obama before he thanked his team after the Super Bowl. Like Obama was the 12th man on the field or threw the winning touch down. I predicted that Rooney was sucking up to BO for a job as Irish Envoy.....
But as great as the Steelers and the Penquins are, Pittsburgh is still cursed with the Pirates.
PS...I thought Marino was a better QB than Bradshaw...But dont tell anyone here....

Me too! The one place I don’t want to see politics played is during major sports events, even if I DID like the President. I think it’s out of place.

I watched Marino play for Pitt and evolve as a player. Always was a fan. He may have been a more skilled football player than Bradshaw--I'm not too sure about that--but who has the most rings on their fingers? That's the bottom line.
